The fish tavern Koursaros operated for the first time in 1992 when the team from “Kritikos” in Peiraiki, the families of Manolis Mavridakis and Lambros Karananos, decided to do the paradox and open a fish tavern in the country area of Drosia. However, very soon Koursaros became the favourite meeting place of Athenian good eaters and the chosen restaurant for business, friends and family dining.
Over time that which was a paradox converted slowly, slowly into a very strong tradition. The quality of the fresh fish and seafood combined with the polite and friendly customer service from the, known for their 20 year duration, team of waiters recognized Koursaros as one of the best Fish and Seafood restaurants in Greece.
Systematically culturing the idea of exquisite base ingredients and the traditional manner of implementation of our recepies, although perhaps offering the best selection of fresh fish in Greece, we managed to obtain, with the passing of time, that which the largest part of our customers acknowledge and to become the identity of Koursaros.
